RT-AC68U - FW: 384.8_2
I have two AC68U, one in default router mode and 1 in AP mode. The one in AP mode gives me 950 mbps however the one in router mode gives me around 450 mbps.
The wifi settings are identical and I just cannot explain the difference in speeds.
Even if I move the router mode one next to the AP one, the speed difference is the same, so not location or interference.
I swapped the config around (AP to Router, and router to AP) to check it was not a hardware / antenna issues, same result.
I have done a factory reset on the Router mode device, and even with default settings I get the same result.
So is this just normal behaviour when running in router mode or am I missing something completely?
