RT-AC68U No Longer Broadcasts SSID for 2.4 GHz WiFi

ITGL72

New Around Here
My RT-AC68U suddenly no longer broadcasts the 2.4 GHz wifi network. You can see it in the admin screen of the router, but clients do not see it's SSID. Clients can see and connect to the 5 GHz network. I'm trying to contact Asus support at their site but at the moment they are having issues. While I'm beginning the troubleshooting process does anyone have any suggestions on what more I can look into or try? I've tried to restart it and power it on and off, shut down wifi and turn it back up, but no luck seeing the 2.4 wifi network again. Not sure its still under warranty but until I can get back to the Asus site and login I'll troubleshoot.

Make sure you use channels 1-11, some devices have issues with channels 12 and 13.

Read some info on the 30/30/30 rule explained here. I didn't try it this time but will consider it next time I have an update and see if it helps. I did seem to get the device back to working again. I turned off guest wifi networks. Then restart the device. The 2.4 GHZ wifi SSID then popped up. Go figure. It is OK now, for now.
