RT-AC68U running 3.0.0.4.374.542 and RT-AC68R DDR Configuration Upgrade

I recently purchased the RT-AC68U and upgraded to firmware 3.0.0.4.374_542.
This resolved problems I was having with getting port forwarding to work with the shipped firmware and I am considering doing the RT-AC68R DDR Configuration Upgrade. Can I apply the RT-AC68R DDR Configuration to this firmware as base?

The tool description was poorly worded. The firmware version it mentions is the minimal version, not the exact version you have to be running.
