RT-AC68U, Upgrade to 384.7.2 - Now VPN Policy Rules not working

New Around Here
Hi,

hoping to get some help on my problem, as I have exhausted my knowledge/ideas on the topic. I will profess to knowing just enough to set up the VPN on the router to achieve my goals, but do not understand many of the in/outs and lingo.

First - I have been running Merlin over 2 years along with NordVPN service. I have the VPN Client set up, to run with policy rules. The first rule I set if for all traffic to run through the VPN, then each rule following is to exclude a specific device from the VPN and run through WAN (for various reasons.. mostly netflix/amazon blocking when they detect the vpn or proxy).

2 weeks ago, I updated to 384.7 - I did a Factory Reset first, and then installed the new firmware, installed the VPN as previous and all worked fine.

A few days ago, I upgraded to 384.7.2 and since then, when I turn on the policy rules, none of my traffic goes through the VPN. If I select 'All' for Redirect Internet traffic, then everything goes through VPN. So the VPN account/settings are good... but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong that it will not work with Policy Rules.

Any insights would be appreciated. The image below/attached is how I have set the client and the policy rule.

Try this: 192.168.1.0/24 0.0.0.0 VPN whole subnet goes throu VPN.

Well.. that difference in specifying the whole subnet worked. I tested it back and forth.. it accepts the 192.168.1.0/24 formate... but not the 0.0.0.0 in the source, which it has in the past and how I had defined it in the rules.

Thanks Octopus.

You can try 0.0.0.0/24 if it's working, havent tested that.
