Hi All,
I've recently purchased the RT-AC86U in an attempt to resolve issues with XBox games getting disconnected when ADSL2+ upload is saturated - the Adaptive QoS in the stock firmware did not appear to be much help (set bandwidth limits manually to 90% of download/upload speed, enabled game boost) so I loaded Merlin 384.6 with the hope that the fq_codel algorithm would help.
What I saw however is that the QoS Bandwidth Monitor was not working as expected - it is either not counting most uploads (eg: speedtest.net) at all or including them in downloads. The QoS statistics are the same and so I assume the QoS itself will not work.
I have hard reset, and also "Initialized", with no change. I have also tried 384.7 beta 2 - same result.
I have seen similar reports associated with IPv6 and VPNs - IPv6 is disabled and I have no VPN's configured.
The monitor is working fine with the stock firmware (300438432799)
Is anyone else seeing this issue?
Thanks,
dh99999
