RT-AC86U fails to properly validate DNSSEC queries despite using a DNSSEC enabled DNS resolver

I have been using the below settings ever since I initially bought this router and a few days ago I have noticed all of my devices failing DNSSEC queries such as on https://dnssec.vs.uni-due.de/

I have not installed any third party scripts/mods/extensions on the router.

Remove the DNS servers from the LAN page. It causes you to bypass your router, and therefore you're not getting any DNSSEC validation done.

After doing that, restart your clients or renew their DHCP lease so they can obtain the proper DNS parameters (i.e. the router's own IP, so it can handle DNS resolution + DNSSEC validation).
