RT-AC86U unable to set VPN as default gateway on QNAP NAS

This works on stock firmware, QNAP QTS doesn't allow me to set VPN connection as gateway for NAS with Merlin. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Your description is ambiguous, in many ways. Is this OpenVPN? Client or server? Where is it running, on the router or NAS? Which device are you attempting to change its default gateway?

IOW, be *very* specific. What seems obvious to you isn't necessarily obvious to those of us in the forum.

My bad, seems to be fixed now. Disabling then re-enabling gateway option for the QVPN client fixed it.
