RT-AC87U Quantenna soc temperatures

How its possible to had a 3o degrees difference between rfic and bbic if they are running on the same chipset.

Look like I have to open the router and change the inside and outside thermal pads with mx-4. On AC56U doing this i have lowered the cpu temp from around 90 to 65 degrees Celsius.

First of all: Where is the problem? There is no problem as the chips are ceriffied to operate >120° C...

For you further evaluation: my temps are shown below!

First of all: Where is the problem? There is no problem as the chips are ceriffied to operate >120° C...

Broadcom chips are certified to 120°, but quantenna are operational till 90° if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, I already changed the paste but without much success. At least for quantenna soc it varies between 70-75° and 5ghz now is worst upto 56°. Maybe later I will remove the metal plates (caps) and install the heatsinks directly on the chips.
