RT-AC87U_384.11_2 not working with new Arris SB8200 Cable Modem.

After purchasing a new Arris SB8200, I found that my RT-AC87U with 384.11_2 firmware, reports the SB8200 as:

“DHCP does not function correctly.”

I brought out my old Apple router, and the SB8200 connects to it just fine.

What can I do to make my RT-AC87U connect?

I contacted my ISP and they reset their DHCP settings, All now works!
