Every few days my devices stop seeing the 5ghz WiFi channel. The LED on the router is still on but the SSID becomes invisible. A reboot solves the problem but then after a few days it happens again.

Any thoughts on a cause or how I can fix it.

Is the control channel set to auto and when you click on it, the list of radio channels is not there? When it happens is the web administration page loading slowly?

Had a similar issue, and initially from a couple of days, it went to hours between reboots. And this slow degradation happened over the course of almost two months. Restored the router multiple times to no avail. Finally contacted ASUS and they suspected a hardware failure and got a replacement. Most hardware will just fail completely however not in this case.

It is set to auto. When I click on it I do get a list of options.
