I'm running the latest alpha on my RT-AC88u. So far, everything works fine and reliably.
That is, until you try to connect by IPsec VPN. This will cause the router to reboot after a couple of seconds (less than ten).
If I can be of any help in the troubleshooting process, plesae let me know
