RT-AX82U upgrade

I have a network with:

- ONT HUAWEI HG8240H 500 Mb optic fiber
- GATEWAY ASUS RT-AX82U next to ONT. WIFI coverage limited due to it,s position
- TWO RT-AX57 in WIRED AP mode

Typical wired 1000 BaseT LAN. Aboy 25 IoT wifi gadgets (smart plugas etc.) in network

I have seen GT-AX6000 about 150 euro. I am thinking in upgrading my RT-AX82U:
- GT-AX6000 as GATEWAY
- RT-AX82U in AP mode, instead of one of the RT-AX57 -vary good in AP mode-

I have read GT-AX6000 is a avery good device... ¿perhaps obsolete today?

In a typical network ¿is there a major improvement upgrading from RT-AX82U from GT-AX6000?

I have a worked configuration inRT-AX82U with many LAN Ip settings, ports etc. CAN I UPLOAD RT-AX82U CONFIGURATION FILE INTO RT-AX6000?

NO! Settings files are router specific. You will need to configure the new router manually.
The AX86U Pro and AX88U Pro are the most recommended routers. The AX6000 is OK as well.

WIFI coverage limited due to it,s position

Your new router in EU region will come with exactly the same Tx power limitations like your existing router. Both will be limited to 2.4GHz band 20dBm (100mW) and 5GHz band non-DFS 23dBm (200mW). Don't expect much coverage improvements.

If you need wired router only next to the ONT and want to move the existing RT-AX82U to another location in AP Mode for better coverage - yes, may work and relatively cheap solution with re-using of what you already have. Not really an upgrade, but optimization.
