Anyways, thanks to the forum and all the gurus who supported me through this issue. Appreciate the help and it finally looks to be resolved.

Just beautiful - no more disconnects. Also, I realized when the router worked "fine" for about 10 days in the middle was because it was spring break and my wife did not use her work laptop I can safely move on to other things like NAS and virtual servers , etc, etc;
