RT-AX88u mac address wlan 2.4 and 5 ghz equal

New Around Here
Hi, I have this problem in my router RT-AX88u.
On the system status page, wireless MAC address are equal for 2.4 ghz to 5 ghz.
So basically the router doesn't work properly for the wireless part.
If I search for wireless networks with netspot I only see the 2.4 ghz network.
I have already tried doing hardware resets several times.
I installed Asuswrt-Merlin firmware which did not fix the problem.
Have you any suggest?
Thanks a lot

Is this a new problem after a firmware upgrade ?

Or is this a problem that started from the first power up / configuration of the router ?
If yes, was the router purchased new or used ?

What are the MAC addresses for the two radios printed on the box ?

I have this router since 2021.
I noticed that the wireless network suddenly wasn't working properly.

So I realized that the wireless MAC address are equal.
I then installed the latest version of the Asus firmware and then the corresponding Merlin version but without success.

The label on the router show only the hardware MAC address.

If you go to System Log - Wireless Log do you see information for both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands?

If not reboot the router, wait five minutes then go to System Log - General Log and click on the Save button the save the log file. Upload the log file to www.file.io and then post the link here so that we can examine it.

In the System Log - Wireless Log I see information for both bands with the same BSSID.

This is the link to General Log:

From your log file it looks like the router has a damaged manufacturing partition. It's similar to this thread and others like it. Send me a direct message if you want me to take a look at it.
Good morning everyone,
I am writing this post to publicly thank user @ColinTaylor for his availability.
It solved my problem by having me completely recover my router that I thought I would have to throw away.

The problem was known as it was the corrupted manufacturing partition (mtd10).

I am very grateful to him!

hello, I have exactly the same issue, even the mac adresses of both wifi adresses are the same as above. Is there a fix for I can use ?

Now the router connected as acces point to my main router and my ax88u is working maybe better than before, it's stable and a good output of the wifi signals. Even connecting my old ac68u as aimesh node (used for occasional situations now) was done without any issus. Many thanks @ColinTaylor
