RT-BE88U and no NAT Acceleration?

The LAN - Switch Control page of my BE88U with Asus stock firmware doesn't show a NAT Acceleration option. What I see are Jumbo Frame and Bonding/ Link aggregation.

What does it mean? Is this a serious problem vs other routers?

No it's not a problem. NAT Acceleration (CTF) was something that was only applicable to old routers like the RT-AC68U.

Was that only yet another PR stunt or did it actually work?

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you suggesting CTF might be a PR stunt that didn't actually do anything? If so, then I can assure you CTF really is a thing and not just PR.
Fine, then why did they remove it, if it was a good thing? Wasn't it needed anymore or what? (I'm just curious)

So basically it's 'hidden' here:

I meant: The functionality has been replaced with something else and that 'something else' is included there (absolutely nothing suspect)
Like the OP, I was simply wondering why I couldn't find the Nat acceleration on my new routers.

Ah, I understand now. The Tools page is something Merlin added to his firmware. So if you're on stock firmware you wouldn't even be aware of Archer or Flow Cache. It's just one of many things that happen behind the scenes.

You're right, except it's called 'System Info' now:)
I should have mentioned the image is a Merlin thing to avoid confusion (forgot this ia a non-Merlin forum).
But it's good that they, according to the post by Merlin, have improved things.
