RT-BE92U disconnected by my isp

I've had this router for three weeks. I bought it to replace my Asus RT-AX88u router, which was no longer working due to a firmware bug.
After connecting this router (RT-BE92U), my ISP (KPN) reported problems with my internet connection, and then disconnected me a few days later.
I contacted KPN and was told that my connection was spreading spam/viruses, so I was disconnected (rightfully so).
I swapped the Asus router with the KPN modem and had no problems at all. I then decided to return the router to the store.I contacted Asus and didn't receive a satisfactory solution.

Note: nothing done at thebl devices connected and all devices reconnected again

My tip: don't buy any more Asus routers (for now) because I've discovered through other platforms that Asus routers are full of problems.

A new, fresh from the box, wifi router does not start "spreading viruses or sending spam" unless 1) it was hacked in the supply chain ( unlikely) or 2) Remote access was configured with weak security ( was it enabled ? ) , or 3) a device behind the router was hacked/hijacked and causing the issues ( common ? ) , or 4) Ai Protection/Ai Cloud/ etc were enabled and the ISP detection systems flagged legitimate traffic as the issue ( possible) ,or 5) a VPN / Torr node was operating at the IP address of the service ( possible ? ) .

Out of the millions of ASUS products shipped without similar issues, what was posted does not seem to be the common experience. So without additional details, what was posted/auto generated by the ISP, does not make sense to me.

IIRC KPN have the router's mac address included in the PPPoE login, so have you tried setting the KPN router's mac in the WAN settings page on the asus?
Or just run the asus router behind KPN's.

@Arnold_K, by not having the router any more so that we cannot help find out what's happened in your extremely rare case.
In this case, I say this thread is not necessary to even be posted.
Good luck with whatever router you try next.
