RT-N66 Disappeared from Network Devices

I am using Windows 7 64 bit OS. All of a sudden my router is disappeared from the Network devices including the USB drive attached to it in Windows Explorer. . I can see the router on WD Live TV but not on my PC.

How do I trouble shoot it?

Any suggestions?

Hi,

My first suggestion is to look for issues in the "Master Browser" area - I had the same problem with the router and one of my Windows 7 notebooks.

Just search the forum for "Master Browser" and follow the advice.

Well I searched with no luck. I don't believe the issue is with the router's firmware. I do not really want to flash custom firmware as the one I am using now has been rock solid.

There has to be some settings on my PC because it was working fine before but now I can not see it under my network devices.

Installed the latest Asuswrt-Merlin and it has fixed the problem. I have no idea why?
