rt-n66u gui "hangs"

Hi ,

I have a problem with n66u. I have been using Tomato for some time , but i have decided to try out merlin and official firmware. And this is where it all went downhill. After flash (merlin) gui started to work very slow , menu wouldn't load , and usually in the and it would hang. I have try reflashing if from recovery ( this time official fw) , same thing. NVRAM cleared.

PS this is the second unit , which show identical behaviour.

PPS Tomato is working just fine ...
