RT-N66U Maxing out at 140Mbps (wired) download speed
Greetings,
I'm having a bit of a brain fart here....
I just installed my new Rogers/hitron cable modem and I'm getting an average of 194 Mbps download (wired) to my computer, woohoo!!!
But and this is a big but...when I connect my computer to my ASUS RT-N66U via gigabit port, which in turn is connected to the new cable modem. I'm only getting 140 Mbps download, consistently.
My question is: Whaaaaat??? Am I missing something here or am I stroking out...or maybe the router can't handle the bandwidth?
My rt-r66u is running the latest firmware from Merlin and I have rebooted several times and disable QOS.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
X
