RT-N66U:Smart Tv not accessing media server

For about a week now I've been trying to diagnose my ethernet problems. Well I flashed merlins newest build onto my router(though it didn't solve my ethernet problem, which I think it is a hardware issue on my desktop side),the build ran well. In the midst I bought a new sony smart tv and it found my server just fine. Someone had suggested to use a sdk5 build because it was one of the best for the router so naturally I tried it. Well the tv now doesn't find the server anymore, doesn't even assign ip address to the server. So I went back to merlins newest build because I liked it and like I said I think my ethernet problem is hardware on my desktop, and sure enough no server. Now I read that minidlna fom the sdk5 build might be an issue. If I delete that will that solve my issue or is there something I'm missing.

sure enough deleting the minidlna file fixed it
