I have an rt-n66u running Tomato 1.28 by shibby and I cannot set up WOL on it. OS is Windows 10. My goal is to wake it up remotely using teamviewer. I got it to work on local network so I know that things like BIOS, Windows, and Network card properties are set up correctly. Cannot get it to work with a public address. I followed all the instructions here: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/res/pdf/TeamViewer-Manual-Wake-on-LAN-en.pdf. In the Tools>WOL section of the router config I have the mac address of my PC and the IP address of my PC as well. Set up port forwarding on my router for port 9 UDP. In teamviewer itself I enabled wake on lan for public address, added the dyndns address, used port 9 (same port I forwarded in my router). From my other computer when I try to wake up this one, nothing happens.
Could somebody please help me out, I have no idea what to do at this point. If you know of another program I can use to wake up my PC that's fine, I can just do that and then connect through teamviewer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!
