I cannot seem to edit the "Pin" it's requesting when setting up a 3G/4G USB modem... Any suggestions ?

Are you using Asus's firmware or one of mines? PIN support is a built time option, I don't know if Asus enabled it in their release or not.

Asus'. Not sure if it will work without changing it.

I'm not sure if that would work, but trying setting it manually over telnet:

nvram set modem_pincode_opt=1
nvram set modem_pincode=your_pin_code_here
nvram commit

That worked. It now lets me change/delete what it had by default.
