Depends on needs and budget. Yes, it's a better device. But is it worth the extra cost? Depends if you have enough high bandwidth Wifi 7 clients to take advantage of it, or if you are in an area where 6 GHz would allow you to work around 5 GHz congestion, for example.

Again it's a matter of needs and budget. I've been using an RT-BE96U as my main router for over a year now, and for me it's fine, as I don't need Adaptive QoS.

Does it affect Adaptive QoS only or also everything else using bwdpi engine? I've seen people complaining about inaccurate Traffic Analyzer. Parental Controls also relies on traffic identification. AiProtection?

Traffic Analyzer's application identification has been replaced by a new Asus implementation based on DNS identification a couple of months ago.

Malicious website blocking still works. No idea about the rest, I don't use them.
