Running armhf programs on aarch64 architecture

I‘m trying to run a Monitoring program, wich is working on RT-AC66U on a RT-AC86U but getting the error message: illegal instruction.
I assume this is due to the different architecture of the routers. Is there a way to get this running? e.g. installing additional libraries with entware?

No, you'll need a version that's compiled for your current router's architecture.
