Hi Tim,

Any chance you can get your hands on this router SafeStream Wireless N Gigabit Broadband VPN Router TL-ER604W for testing. I wanted to see if it can be use AP disable all the other features. How the WiFi on it. So far hasn't been any complaints yet?

Looking at the FCC photos this unit has:

Atheros AR9344@550MHz
Flash 8MB
RAM DDR2 64MB not the 128MB

Switch: Atheros AR82327N
LAN speed: 10/100/1000
EIRP: <20dBm
2x2: 5dbi

NAT Throughput: 160Mbps
Concurrent Session: 10,000
IPsec VPN Throughput: 38mbps

Instead dual 64MB DDR2/128MB DDR2 they only give you 64MB DDR2 Don't see how they go so cheap on RAM on this SMB WiFi VPN Router.

Their other WiFi Routers have 128MB starting with TL-WDR4300, TL-WDR4900. Strong suit of this TL-ER604W is NAT and VPN side. Design is all metal. 5 years warranty.
