Hello,

I recently purchased an AC1900P, and am thinking about upgrading to the Merlin FW. I have read the Merlin Wiki regarding its features, and viewed the screenshots on the Wiki link. I have also viewed the screens on the RT-AC66U router UI emulator. Both seem to be incomplete.

My question is, if I upgrade the Asus FW to Merlin, will all the Asus router configuration screens remain exactly the same, and the Merlin specific features implemented on additional setup screens?

And, is there a "complete" set of Merlin screens available somewhere?

Simply if you don't like Merlin's you can revert to stock f/w, Not a too much hassle to do that.

Just load the fw and you can check it out. Not satisfied? Flash back without an issue.

Depends on what version the router now has.

Factory reset should not be required. Hard reboot (switch on-off) is, but that will keep your configuration intact.

Yes.

And a full reset to factory defaults is required, imo.

Try 380.60 Beta 2.
