I wonder if someone could help me i'm looking to make a script so i can auto unmount my USB HDD automatically so i can leave it plugged in over night and it shuts down at 11pm then auto mounts around 7am, is this possible?

It is difficult to do this reliably and the exact process would depend on what software you have installed that is using the hard disk.
What is the reason for this? What happens to the router between 11pm and 6am? Is it being powered off/on? Do you still want internet access between those times?
