Scripts and Addons on XT12 without USB drive

Hey everyone

I was thinking to buy XT12 and install Merlin firmware on it. But then realized XT12 does not have a USB port.

Does anyone know if there's any way to install scripts and add-ons without SWAP file on a USB drive? I mainly use Skynet firewall and I believe it requires a SWAP on external USB drive?

I would guess you can only run scripts with no USB drive requirement.

Hmm, a $700 USD (!) mesh router (2 pack on Amazon) and NO USB. In 2022. Uhhh, ok, that makes sense. Seems targeted for those more concerned for the aesthetics than the practical/functional.

I don't care what the router is, any brand, no matter the glowing features and reviews, no USB (or SD card) = no deal, because it means no extensibility.

It's called Asus ZenWiFi Pro XT12 - for professionals, not DIY guys with USB sticks like you.
