Subject: Secondary lan in primary lan -> How to make dlna devices visible in secondary lan?

Hey guys,

I have a primary lan (192.168.1.x pfsense) where al my cabled devices are in, and then a secondary lan (192.168.2.x asus-wrt-merlin) where my wireless clients are connected too .

The wan port of the asus-wrt-merlin router is connected to a lan port of my pfsense router.

Now I was wondering, how can my wireless clients (192.168.2.x) see dlna devices (NAS,Printer,Chromecast,etc..) on my primary network (192.168.1.x), do I need to forward the dlna search broadcasts ?

simple answe is to run the secondary asus unit in ap mode as you havnt specified any need to have 2 separate subnets
