I've have a script that sends Emails from the router using a gmail address as source, it uses the steps set out here ...

Google has recently sent out mails saying they are going to remove the "Allow Less secure apps access" from the end of May.

I've tried switching off this option in my gmail account and the script then fails.

Anyone know what the options are to keep this working?

Ah -OK, will give that a try.
Thanks.

If you enable Two-Factor Authentication on your Google account, you can then create an App-specific password for your use in the script.
Thanks for the post. I've been meaning to turn on MFA for the account my security cameras use, and this reminder got me to do it finally.
