Settings may cause PPTP error 778?

I recently helped my wife to connect her company's VPN server (pptp). Unfortunately, I always got error 778 when connected to my home wifi (380.61 running on an RT-AC68P). I thought it their server/firewall issue. However, when I tried to connect via cellular network, it worked. So I guess there might be some setting causing this error.
Hint?
