should I replace stock firmware on my TPLink Archer C7?

Just purchased the Archer C7. It's version 2.0 hardware.

I've always run DD-WRT on my routers. Should I use the stock firmware, or is it cruddy? Preferences/advantages between DD-WRT and Open-WRT?
