Should installing RT-AX3000 asus-merlin version on a RT-AX3000p router work?

I just got a RT-AX3000p from my isp and would like to install asus-merlin but I rather check and I find 3000p not in the list. Should installing a RT-AX3000's asus-merlin firmware work on the 3000p? any help will be appreciated.

No. The RT-AX3000 and RT-AX3000P have different hardware.
