Site to Site VPN IP Sec? Missing IP-Sec Client

Think we will see an IP-Sec VPN client option? I would love to be able to do site to site VPN over IPSec instead of OpenVPN. Typically much better performance with offloading.
 
Asus has some code in place for client support, but no idea if they plan on finalizing it, and if they did when that would be.
