Sketchy wifi signal after Merlin-flash

Hi,

I thought that the stock firmware on my AC66U was not so great, so thought I'd install the Merlin firmware.

However, since flashing with the Merlin firmware the signal strength jumps quite a bit. When checking in Network Strength the signal strength jumps between 26% and 32% when sitting in my couch, pre-Merlin it was steadily at 30%.

And on my HTPC (which is in the same physical position all the time) the signal strength has worsened I think, as I now experience lagging and buffering when watching movies, something that didn't occur before.

Anybody have any ideas?

Did you factory do a reset on the router, and remove all old profiles on all the clients ? That might help , I've had sketchy connections sometimes if I don't do the above .
