Skynet Skynet fails on reboot merlin v3006.102.4

Every reboot Skynet fails (ip tables failed) and I have to restart it manually, Merlin v3006.102.4. This didn't happen with previous version(s).

I'm running Merlin v3006.102.4 on a brand new BE88U router and Skynet starts every time without any issues.

Maybe try uninstalling Skynet then reinstalling it and/or check that USB stick/device is still working without any issues. There is a Disk Check script in AMTM (option i, then option dc, if not already installed. If it is, then it's option dc from main menu).

I would guess it’s related to your use of Unbound and possibly how you have WAN DNS configured. What’s setup in WAN DNS?

I uninstalled/reinstalled and it seems to be working now. I'll report back tomorrow after it does scheduled reboot overnight.

Unless you have a critical reason or use case for this, it's really not necessary to reboot every day. Mine only reboots if a major change is made that requires a reboot, or a new firmware update was applied.

I know. For some reason I like a clean slate each morning. I did notice that after a week or so TVs started to buffer more when no reboot schedule. But I did just disable reboot schedule, I'll try it for a while.

BTW, Skynet is fine this morning after uninstall/reinstall.
