Skynet Skynet - Simple way to ban all countries?

I blocked "ru" and with it blocked Unbound will not update. Anyone have an idea as to why? I'm trying to block youtube ads. Thanks in advance.
I've got "ru" blocked, and my unbound updates just fine. Also, it's pretty much impossible to block youtube ads.

Entware is based in Russia, so it cannot fetch the Unbound update if Russia is blocked. Although bin.entware.net is whitelisted by Skynet. Post some output:
Code:
ping bin.entware.net
nslookup bin.entware.net 127.0.0.1
ping bin.entware.net
opkg update

I reinstalled skynet and slimmed down my banned country list to: "
ru cn kp ir iq sa ae pk af az ba bg hr cu cz eg ee ge va hu id in il kz kw kg lv md om qa ro rs sk si sy tr ua uz" and it seems to be working now. Thanks for the responses.

How do I execute this : skynet country ban RU
since firewall is the only option and skynet doesn't appear to be supported.
I blocked the entire list of countries except US but would like to block China and Russia from outgoing connections. It does work in the firewall form of the command. Any ideas?

On the first page of this thread, second post... Viktor gives you a command

Code:
firewall ban country "xxxxx"

Is basically what you use...

I used that same list, then ran it through AI and ask for a list of countries known for hacking to add to the list and got this list:
Code:
ru cn kp ir iq sa ae pk af az ba bg hr cu cz eg ee ge va hu id in il kz kw kg lv md om qa ro rs sk si sy tr ua uz by vn lb et sd mm ve

Going to see how it goes. Maybe I should add us, uk, ir, and ca too? Haha

Test your download speed before and after you add multiple countries to your blocking list. I noticed a significant decrease in speed with the router having to look at tens of thousands IP ranges for 22 countries. You will need to decide for yourself what is most important marginal increases in security or speed.
