slow router web from outside

firmware: Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.37
connection: PPPoe
broswer: Chrome
router: AC56u
internet speed: 100m down / 40m up
current CPU usage: 0.02 (98.2% idle)
current internet usage: 320kbit/42kbit

Problems: I connect back from outside (office) to home and the web page takes forever to load up, at least 10 minutes already and still load bit by bit!

However, I tried another tomato router, which came out within 2 seconds.

I just wonder what I should do to fix this problem? thanks!

setup:
I have a modem with 4 public IPs. one connect to the router 1 WAN (tomato), and router 2 WAN (Merlin's).
CPU and bandwidth seem fine.

thanks!

Do you by chance have QOS enabled? If yes look at the priority for port 80. Often by default it may be given a low priority.

yes, sorry to mentioned I have QOS on, and I have router WAN and LAN MACs as highest. However, I thought I heard someone said if the speed doesn't reach max, the Qos won't get in?

thanks for the suggestion. anything I could try?

thanks!

I think it was PPPoe issue. after upgrade to 3.0.0.4.374.38 . problem fix.. take only a minute to finish loading.
