Small, Cheap, 4-bay NAS

I am looking to get a 4 bay nas that is relatively small (not too uch bigger than 4 drives stacked together) and relatively cheap (I have seen a few in the $300 range but i can go into the $400 range).

I have seen alot of reviews for a non-NASdrive the "drobo" which *seems* tempting but the USB only (well, no nas) part is a huge turn off.

Any suggestions would really be appreciated!

I bought the Thecus 4100Pro and have been very happy with it. Seems very quick, and quiet. It's about 7 drives high though. 7.75" high.
