Hi again, after being undecided wether to buy an Asus unmanaged switch or a TP-Link switch, I got a very good deal on this TP-Link TL-SG105E, which seems to be managed and has a lot of features that I might never use. Thing is Asus equipment is very hard to get here in Spain, don't ask me why, and Ebay + USA is not an option for me, too much of a hassle.

But anyway, I was thinkering with it's settings and came across this section, ran the test and now I don't get what the FLOCK does this test is telling me. Is my cable screwed ?

Thanks.

PD: Now after powering the device where the open & short thing was showing I get them all on normal ! Strange.

For quick / easy cable testing hook up the cable to a gigabit capable device if you get gigabit speeds your cables are good.

If the cable fails confirm it's the cable vs device with a known cable.
