some noob questions (openvpn/winmtr displays)

hi,

when openvpn is turned on. even though the destination ip to test (eg: bliz servers) are policy set to use WAN, the winmtr/pathping/tracert display basically returns no host name and no packets (using ipvanish). it only works as normal when i turn off openvpn

how can I get around this?

traceroute does not sjust end a single packet to the final destination. It sends packets to every individual hosts along the route. Each of these hosts aren't defined as explicit rules, so they all go through the VPN tunnel.

thanks. I guess I need to do a tracert without openvpn on first then add all the hops into openvpn policy->wan
