Speed tests hang

Anyone else having issues with speed tests from Speedtest.net hanging and giving a lower speed than your isp is providing? My ISP speed test is even hanging. It takes 20 to 30 seconds to get a ping and even that hangs. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue in the last week. Thanks.

That sounds like an ISP issue. Have you tried a speedtest directly off your modem?

That could come from a large number of reasons: modem problem, ISP problem, overloaded WAN, misconfigured QoS, incorrect MTU, etc...

It only started this week. I been running ad blocker for years with no issues. Funny on my S7 I'm get 240Mbps download. Hard wired it hangs and only gives me 170Mbps down. Could be an issue with my laptop.

Start by testing the stability of your connection, by pinging a known good location (such as Google), or running a few traceroutes, looking for any lost packets.
