Are you talking about making your own PATCH cables? As in, crimping RJ45's on the ends of bulk cat6 cable? DIY patch cables are not a terrible idea, but terminating bulk runs at patch panels & keystones is usually a more durable, more expandable, easier and less expensive cabling solution. Making cat5 patch cables is easy. Cat6 is more difficult to do well.I want to make my own Cat 6 Cable
