New Around Here
Hi there.

Im having a recurrent issue on a network with a main SG102-24-NA switch and secondary TEG-S80g switches.

This is very strange:

I have 3 of these TEG-S80g switches distributing the network to PCs and printers. 2 of them work just fine (one connects to a xerox 7665 and 2 desktop PCs, and the other to 3 desktop PCs), but one on them is droping connection consinuously, y have changed that switch 2 times and tripple checked my cabling (cat6a with shielded connectors) with no luck. That particular swith connects to a konica minolta c550, a kyocera 5030 and a desktop PC, in wich i have changed the network card 2 times by now)

Im starting to believe that some of the network cards from the printers are causing this issue.

What do you think guys?

Note: Im routing in DHCP with a Zentyal Server, 10.0.0.0/24 (2-250) IP address range.

Could be. I've seen loads of bizarre compatibility issues over the years. I do a bunch of repair and testing of Cisco routers and switches, and something they do seems to send small unmanaged switches (like the Netgear GS108 and similar products from other manufacturers) into a catatonic state, where "the lights are on but nobody is home". This happens regardless of whether the Cisco device is connected directly to the problem switch, or to some large Cisco switch upstream from it. I assume it's some sort of broadcast / multicast packet that is confusing the small switch and locking it up.

At the other end of the scale, I have a Dell PowerConnect 8024 (a 24-port 10GbE switch using Broadcom silicon) which refuses to see a variety of Ethernet devices when they are plugged in. No link light, nothing. Some other devices auto-negotiate to incorrect settings (100/half for a device with a GigE port).
