The disk in your PC would not be part of the RAID.

You can create a Synology backup job using the RSync protocol and have it sync all data to the disk in your PC.... This is one option...

The DS214Play also has an eSata port on the rear. Get a eSata enclosure for your extra disk and connect it directly to the port on the rear of the DS214. Setup Synology backup job...
