I have a Gateway MAX TG799 - recently got the Asus AC87U, having no modem I reset the gateway to bridge and set the AC87U to login to Telstra and provide 2.4 & 5ghz wireless.
All seems to work....ish. I have issues where the wireless completely drops out, can be days so not consistent. I can connect to the Asus router says my Internet is not connected. So I reboot the Asus only and its all working again. So the internet is still up I assume, as the bridge has the actual physical connection ? Or is there something going on with Telstra ?
Using the Current Ac87U Firmware 378.56 - not doing anything speacial just login to telstra and wireless.
