Terrible connection issues with my MAC

New Around Here
I just purchased the rt-ac68u asus, and on my MAC with os 10.9.4, the wireless connection drops out constantly.

Via Ethernet it is fine, but wireless it is terrible. I did not have these issues with the ac66r.

THe connection drops with dd-wrt, and even with the asus firmware it came with. (on both 2.4 and 5ghz)

I think there is an issue with MAC clients and perhaps will return the router.

all intel clients are fine.

does anyone have a fix?

Thanks

Have you reset the router after flashing each firmware? Did you use a new ssid (or at least forget the connection and re-associate again on each client)?

What version Asus firmware are you running? Have you tried RMerlin's firmware?

I think a possible fix for the macs was to disable the wireless card from sleeping?
