The 2nd wave of AX chipsets

It's mid-Jan. 2020: are there any news about the 2nd wave of AX chipsets? Anything "in the offing," as it were?

Qualcomm announced theirs last August. The main thing here is that these devices fix the lack of UL OFDMA support.

There are new routers announced from TP-Link, D-Link and NETGEAR that use a two-stream Broadcom device. I'm not sure if it should be considered "2nd wave", i.e. whether it has any new features.

I don't think you're going to see major investment until 6 GHz spectrum is approved.

Just looking to replace my aging R7000, that seems to be stuck on an old FW (.42). All ulterior FWs suck. R7000 works fine so far, though the thought of not being able to update FWs kinda gives me the heebie-jeebies. I'd be interested in anything using Qualcomm's new Networking Pro x00 (esp. 1200) Platforms
