This is a CPU temperature monitoring tool for Asus routers running stock firmware.

This software provides excellent support for Stock Firmware across various Asus Router models:

1. Gaming Series (GT and High-end RT-AX/BE)

  • Tested Model: GT-AX11000 Pro.
  • Similar Models: GT-AXE11000, GT-AXE16000, GT-BE98 Pro.
  • High-end RT Series: RT-AX88U (Pro), RT-AX86U (Pro), RT-AX89X.
2. Mainstream Router Series (Wi-Fi 6 / Wi-Fi 5)Most models with the "RT-" prefix powered by Broadcom chipsets are compatible:
  • Wi-Fi 6: RT-AX58U, RT-AX3000, RT-AX82U.
  • Wi-Fi 5 (Legacy models with a large active user base): RT-AC68U, RT-AC86U, RT-AC1900, RT-AC5300.
3. Mesh Series (ZenWiFi)Asus's premium Mesh systems also utilize this same firmware platform:
  • ZenWiFi Pro: ET12, XT12.
  • ZenWiFi AX: (XT8).

While I appreciate your work on this script you, in return, should really make this script public. Whilst it's not a policy most coders here do openly share their scripts without the "pm me" restrictions.
If it's about compatibility you could make that public too.
Hiding like this sounds alarm bells for me - sorry.
 
Why we need to monitor the router's CPU temperature? I have the temperature reading in the GUI and looked at it few times out of curiosity. I know it's around 50C most of the time ± few degrees.
 
DaRemote on android shows loads of info on most Linux systems (ahem, asus routers included) besides being a great ssh client.
If you have an android definitely give it a go. I'd post screenshots but there's just too much (have a look at the network section).
