It worked only for 2 years. It was connected to Nintendo Switch. It is dead now.

Yes it's dirty cheap. But a funny thing is Plugable one is still working good with another Nintendo Switch for 5 years.Sorry to hear about your loss.

My adapters are connected 24/7.i've got a pluggable multi-function dongle thingy - usbc to hdmi/1000-base-T/usb A that I use with my macbooks and dell xps units - it's been fine, but it's not connected 24/7
